External providers integrated into Crawlux audits. Outages here cause partial audit results with the affected check group flagged. Crawlux retries automatically before flagging.

Provider outages do not block audits

Crawlux retries failed provider calls up to 3 times with exponential backoff. If a provider remains unavailable, the audit completes with the affected check group flagged as incomplete. You can re-run the audit when the provider recovers. Free re-runs for incomplete audits are policy.

Incident history
// Past 90 days

Recent incidents

Two minor incidents in the last 90 days. Both resolved within target window. No major outages affecting paid audits.

Audit engine degraded performance during peak load

Apr 19, 2026 · 14:22 UTC

Audit engine experienced increased queue times during peak hours due to higher than expected concurrent audit volume. Audits completed but average runtime increased from 2 minutes 25 seconds to roughly 4 minutes 10 seconds. Auto-scaling threshold adjusted to prevent recurrence.

Resolved 2 hours 38 minutes after detection. Auto-scaling threshold lowered. No data loss. No failed audits.

PDF generation timeouts during DataForSEO outage

Mar 7, 2026 · 09:14 UTC

Brief DataForSEO API outage caused PDF generation to wait for backlink data beyond the timeout threshold. Some PDF reports completed without backlink section. JSON outputs were unaffected. Issue resolved when DataForSEO recovered. PDF retry mechanism added afterwards.

Resolved 1 hour 12 minutes after detection (DataForSEO recovery time). PDF retry logic added in v2.3 to handle similar future cases automatically.

// Status page FAQ

Common questions

Six questions covering update frequency, status indicators, provider outages and contact paths.

How often does the status page update?

Service status checks run every 60 seconds. Component status indicators reflect the most recent check. Uptime calendars and percentages reflect the last 90 days. Incident records are added manually within 15 minutes of detection. Resolution updates are added within 30 minutes of resolution.

What does each status indicator mean?

Operational means the service is fully functional with no degradation. Degraded means the service is functional but with reduced performance (slower responses, partial features). Major outage means the service is unavailable. Maintenance means scheduled downtime is in progress (announced 24 hours ahead via this page and email).

What happens to my audit if a provider has an outage?

Audits depend on multiple upstream providers (DataForSEO, CoinGecko, DefiLlama, PageSpeed, OpenAI, Claude, Perplexity). If a single provider has a brief outage during your audit, Crawlux retries automatically up to 3 times with exponential backoff. If a provider has a sustained outage, Crawlux returns a partial audit with the affected check group flagged as incomplete. You can re-run the audit when the provider recovers.

How can I subscribe to status updates?

Three options. First, this status page updates continuously and can be bookmarked or monitored via RSS (planned for Q3 2026). Second, paid tier customers receive email notifications for major incidents affecting their audits. Third, the status page exposes a JSON endpoint for programmatic monitoring (planned for Q4 2026 with the API launch).

What is the historical uptime?

Crawlux core services (audit engine, dashboard, PDF generator) have averaged 99.94% uptime over the past 90 days. Upstream provider uptime varies by provider but averages 99.7% across the integrated stack. The status page shows live uptime per component. Crawlux is built with retry logic and graceful degradation so that brief upstream outages do not cause audit failures.

Who do I contact during an incident?

During active incidents, this status page is the canonical source of truth and updates in real time. For specific impact on your audits, email [email protected] with your audit ID and a description of the issue. Response within 4 hours during business hours, longer outside business hours. For urgent issues affecting Team or Enterprise tier customers, the dedicated account contact handles incidents directly.
