Getting started

5 questions
What is Crawlux?

Crawlux is the first SEO and AEO audit tool calibrated specifically for Web3, DeFi, NFT and token projects. It runs 23 analyzers across 6 audit modules, generates a downloadable PDF report and gives a 90-day action plan. Pricing is one-time per-domain, not monthly subscription.

How do I run my first audit?

Visit the free audit page, enter your domain, click run. Audit completes in 90 to 120 seconds. PDF report is generated automatically and emailed when ready. No account required for the free tier. Upgrade to Pro or Team only when you want unlimited re-audits.

How long does an audit take?

Most audits complete in 90 to 120 seconds from start to finish. Reports are generated immediately after completion. Larger sites with many pages can take up to 5 minutes. Email notification is sent when ready, so you do not need to wait on the page.

What types of sites does Crawlux audit?

Web3 project sites of any kind: DeFi protocols, NFT marketplaces, token landing pages, exchange directories, wallet sites, DAO governance pages and crypto media outlets. The methodology adjusts for the project type detected. Non-crypto sites can also be audited but findings will not include token-specific checks.

Do I need an account to run an audit?

No account required for the free tier. Enter your domain, get the audit, download the PDF. An email is required to receive the PDF. Account creation is only required for Pro and Team tiers, which add features like unlimited re-audits and team workspace access.

Pricing and billing

6 questions
Is the free tier really free?

Yes. One full audit per unique domain forever. No credit card required, no time limit, no feature restrictions on the audit itself. The free audit shows the same 23 analyzer findings and recommendations as paid tiers. Upgrade enables unlimited re-audits.

What does $25 buy me?

$25 buys one Pro tier audit on a single domain with unlimited re-audits for 12 months. Same 23 analyzers, full PDF report and audit history retention. Re-audits at any time within the 12-month window are included at no additional cost.

What is the difference between Pro and Team?

Pro tier ($25 per domain) includes the full audit and standard PDF report. Team tier ($49 per domain) adds white-label customization (your branding on the report), team workspace with role-based access and the ability to share audits internally without per-seat fees.

Do I need a monthly subscription?

No. Crawlux uses one-time per-domain pricing. You pay once per domain and own that audit access for 12 months. This is intentionally different from competitor tools that charge $99 to $600 per month for similar functionality.

How do refunds work?

Refunds available within 30 days for verified methodology bugs, infrastructure failures and accidental duplicate purchases. Disagreement with audit findings or low scores is not refundable. Full eligibility table in the refund policy.

What payment methods do you accept?

Standard credit and debit cards via Stripe. Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover. International cards supported. SEPA and ACH for European and US bank transfers on Team and Enterprise tiers. Cryptocurrency payment options being evaluated.

Audit reports

5 questions
How do I read the audit score?

Score is on a 0 to 100 scale across 6 modules. Anything above 80 is strong. 60 to 80 is competitive but improvable. Below 60 indicates material gaps. Module-level scores show which area needs the most attention. Full breakdown is in the report PDF.

What is the 90-day action plan?

Findings prioritized into a 90-day execution plan. Phase 1 (days 1-30) covers high-impact fixes that move the score quickly. Phase 2 (days 31-60) covers medium-impact methodology improvements. Phase 3 (days 61-90) covers long-term content and authority work.

Can I compare audits over time?

Yes. Pro and Team tiers include audit history retention. Each audit run is timestamped and can be compared against previous runs to track score change, finding resolution and methodology version drift. Free tier retains audits for 30 days only.

Why are there findings I expected that are missing?

Findings only appear when the analyzer detects an actual issue. If you expected a finding but did not see it, the analyzer determined no issue exists. Two common reasons: the issue you expected is already correctly resolved, or the analyzer scope does not cover that specific check.

Can I challenge a finding I disagree with?

Yes. Email [email protected] with the audit ID, the specific finding and your reasoning. The methodology team reviews challenges within 5 business days. Confirmed methodology bugs result in audit reissue. Disagreements about subjective scoring are documented but the methodology stands.

Methodology

4 questions
How is Crawlux different from generic SEO tools?

Crawlux is calibrated for Web3 specifically. It checks token schema, on-chain authority signals, AI engine citation patterns for crypto queries, DeFi-specific structured data and Web3-relevant E-E-A-T signals. Generic SEO tools miss these checks because they were not built for crypto sites.

What data sources back the audit?

DataForSEO for backlink and SERP data. CoinGecko for token market data. DefiLlama for TVL and protocol metrics. Anthropic, OpenAI and Perplexity APIs for AI engine citation testing. Google PageSpeed for Core Web Vitals. Full subprocessor list at crawlux.com/dpa.

How often is the methodology updated?

Quarterly methodology releases align with significant changes in AI engine behavior, schema standards or Web3 conventions. Patch updates occur monthly for analyzer calibration adjustments. Methodology version is shown on every audit report so you can track drift between runs.

Can I see the methodology details?

Yes. Full methodology documentation is at crawlux.com/resources/methodology. It covers each analyzer, score weighting, calibration sources and version history. Enterprise customers can request the calibration data and weight tables under NDA.

Account and team

4 questions
How do I add team members?

Team tier includes the team workspace feature. Account owner invites by email from Settings> Team. Roles available: Owner, Admin, Editor, Viewer. No per-seat fees. Maximum team size is 50 on standard Team tier and unlimited on Enterprise.

Can I configure white-label branding?

Yes on Team tier. Settings> Branding lets you upload a logo, set brand colors, configure contact details and connect a custom dashboard subdomain. White-label changes apply to PDF reports, dashboard interface and email notifications immediately on save.

How do I reset my password?

Visit the login page, click "Forgot password" and enter your account email. Reset link valid for 1 hour. If you no longer have access to that email, contact [email protected] with verification details from a recent receipt or invoice.

How do I delete my account?

Settings> Account> Delete account. Confirmation required. Account moves to read-only for 90 days for data export. After 90 days, data is permanently deleted from production within 14 days. Backup deletion within 90 days of production deletion. Full timeline in the privacy policy.

Privacy and security

4 questions
Where is my data hosted?

Primary infrastructure in AWS eu-west-1 (Ireland). Backup region is eu-central-1 (Frankfurt). US backup in us-east-1 for disaster recovery. EU customer data stays in EU regions by default. Full infrastructure details in the security policy.

Is my audit data confidential?

Yes. Audit data is encrypted at rest with AES-256 and in transit with TLS 1.3. Customer-isolated envelope encryption for sensitive data. Audit data is never used for marketing, never shared with third parties for advertising and never used to train AI models without explicit consent.

Are you GDPR compliant?

Yes. Full GDPR commitments are documented in the GDPR Addendum. Includes lawful basis matrix, data subject rights mapping, Standard Contractual Clauses for transfers and supervisory authority details. UK ICO is the lead supervisory authority.

How do I report a security issue?

Email [email protected] with details. Severity-tied response targets in the security policy. Crawlux operates a vulnerability disclosure program with credit and acknowledgment. Bug bounty program in evaluation phase. Do not test on production systems without prior authorization.
