Eidoo case study: 42-point AEO lift in 60 days using Crawlux Pro audit
Eidoo started 2026 with an AI Visibility score of 31 out of 100. Sixty days later, the score sits at 73. The path between those two numbers is documented analyzer by analyzer in the case study Crawlux publishes today. Every fix, every signal lift, every dead end.
LONDON · APRIL 15, 2026
Eidoo is a self-custody wallet and exchange operating across multiple chains. The product is mature. The team is small. SEO had been treated as something that worked or did not work, with limited visibility into which signals were moving and which were not. The Crawlux Pro audit ran on the site in early February. The opening score was 31 of 100. Median for the crypto wallet vertical at the time: 36. Eidoo was scoring below the median for its category despite a product older than most of the comparison set.
The audit surfaced 14 prioritized findings ranked by expected score lift. Three jumped to the top: robots.txt was blocking ClaudeBot and PerplexityBot (cutting AI cite eligibility by an estimated 40% on its own), FinancialProduct schema was missing on every token page despite the site listing 200+ tokens, and the wallet's Person schema for named team members was either absent or pointed to placeholder LinkedIn URLs that 404ed. The combined estimated lift from fixing the top three: 28 points.
Week one focused on robots.txt and crawl access. The team shipped an updated robots.txt explicitly allowing GPTBot, ClaudeBot, PerplexityBot, CCBot and Bytespider while keeping the existing rules for traditional crawlers intact. AI Visibility score moved from 31 to 47 within 9 days post-deploy. The lift confirmed the audit estimate within 2 points. Robots access alone delivered 16 of the projected 28-point lift from the top three findings.
Weeks two and three focused on token-page schema. The team used Crypto Schema Generator (released Feb 10) to produce FinancialProduct JSON-LD for the 200+ token detail pages on the site. The implementation rolled out template-side: one edit, all 200+ pages updated. The Token Schema Audit module re-ran post-deploy and validated 198 of 200 pages cleanly. The two failures were edge-case tokens with non-standard chain identifiers, fixed manually within a day. AI Visibility score moved from 47 to 64.
Weeks four through six addressed E-E-A-T signals. Person schema with real LinkedIn references was added for three named team members. Smart contract audits from Trail of Bits and Quantstamp were cited explicitly with auditor name, audit date and report URL. The wallet's jurisdiction disclosure was expanded from a one-line footnote to a dedicated section disclosing supported regions and excluded regions. Trust score moved from 28 to 71 across the YMYL/E-E-A-T module. AI Visibility moved from 64 to 73.
The dead ends. Two recommendations from the audit did not move the needle measurably. First, adding DefinedTermSet schema for the wallet's glossary page produced no observable cite-rate lift, possibly because the glossary was already linked thinly from the rest of the site. Second, attempting to fix internal-link distribution across the long-tail token pages required engineering effort that exceeded the score-lift payoff. Both findings were de-prioritized after week three with documented reasoning.
Where Eidoo sits now. AI Visibility score 73 against a crypto-wallet vertical median of 36 (Eidoo is now in the top decile of its category). FinancialProduct schema valid on 198 of 200 token pages. Robots.txt explicitly allows all major AI crawlers. Trust signals score 71 (median 28 for wallets). The full audit comparison and component-level diffs are published as part of the case study, including the specific fix-by-fix score deltas with confidence intervals.
For other wallet teams looking at the same starting point, the operational lesson is the prioritization order, not the individual fixes. Robots access first because it unblocks every other signal. Schema second because it is the highest-cite-rate signal. E-E-A-T third because it compounds across all categories without affecting the technical surface. The order matters more than the speed. Eidoo shipped fixes over 60 days; a faster team could compress the same sequence into 30 days with similar end results.
The number
31 to 73 in 60 days. Eidoo is now in the top decile of crypto wallet AI Visibility scores. The full audit walkthrough is public. Other wallet teams can replicate the sequence.
